Web Disk is a drag-and-drop interface in cPanel which allows you to access your website's files as if it were a local drive on your computer. (The same results can be accomplished using FTP via Windows Explorer)

Accessing Web Disk:

1. Log in to cPanel.

2. In the 'Files' section, click the Web Disk icon:

3. Go to the 'Main Web Disk Account' section,

By default, the system creates a Web Disk account for your cPanel account, and sets your home directory as the Web Disk location. This account uses the same login information as your cPanel account and can access all of the files in your home directory.

and click 'Access Web Disk':

4. Choose your operating system (of your personal computer):

5. Click 'Download Quick Start Script':

Note: You can also create new user account (set username and password for the account) and define/ associate directory with it whose access you want to give to your user:

You can access the Web Disk user account (by entering the account's username and password) by the same way as described above for accessing your Main Web Disk Account.
