If having a lot of ‘download failed – SockError: Connection timed out’ on GSA search engine ranker then;
1) Please check on your browser to see if the sites are dead or if they aren’t too slow.
2) Another cause might be that you are using too many connections on your GSA for your internet which makes each connection very slow and it doesn’t have the time to load the pages. So try with less connections.
3) Try with a bigger HTML timeout from your GSA settings.
4) Try on your browser with proxy other than on which you had the error to see if the page loads with that proxy, the proxy might be banned on that site
