Setup VPN On Windows 10

Windows 10 brings you a completely new and enhanced experience. Just like any other OS, you will need a little time to get acquainted with Windows 10. People who are not tech-savvy may find it difficult to setup VPN on Windows 10. But, don’t worry, you will get there eventually. To help you further, we have compiled a simple step-by-step guide on how to setup Temok VPN on Windows 10 manually using different protocols. So, let’s start with our guide.

 

Things to Consider:

 

Before you begin, please make sure that:

 

  • You have a working internet connection
  • Windows Supported Device along with Windows 10 operating system.
  • A Premium Temok VPN account (If you haven’t bought it yet, click here to buy)

 

1 Right click on your Active Lan / WiFi icon and click on Network settings

2 Click on VPN then click on Add a VPN connection

3 Insert the following info:

  • Select Windows (built-in) from VPN Provider drop down menu
  • Insert any desired Name as Temok VPN DE, US etc as Connection name
  • Insert desired server address in Server name or address box. Click here to get the list of servers
  • Select “Point to Point Tunneling Protocol (PPTP)” from VPN type drop down menu
  • Select “User name and password” from Type of sign-in info drop down menu

4 Insert the following info:

  • Insert your Username and Password provided by Temok VPN.
  • Select “Remember my sign-in info and click on Save

5 Click on newly created VPN Connection “Temok VPN DE”

6 Click on Connect

7 VPN Will be Established in few seconds

8 You are connected to VPN Successfully. Enjoy the Temok VPN FREEDOMMMM!!!!!


Setup Guide for Windows 8

Below are given the tutorials link for Windows 8 users, which describe step-by-step how to setup VPN manually on your Windows 8 system.

Things to Consider:

Before you begin, please make sure that:

  • You have a working internet connection
  • Windows Supported Device along with Windows 10 operating system.
  • A Premium Temok VPN account (If you haven’t bought it yet, click here to buy)

 

Follow these simple steps to configure Temok VPN manually on Windows 8:

1 Right click on “Lan / Wifi icon” from System tray and select “Open Network and Sharing Center”

2 Click on “Set up a new connection or network”

3 Select “Connect to workplace” and click “Next”

4  Select “Use my Internet connection (VPN)”

5 Insert the following info:

  • Insert desired server addressClick here to get the server list
  • Insert destination name as Temok VPN PPTP or Temok VPN US etc
  • Select “Remember my credentials”
  • Select “Allow other people to use this connection”
  • Click “Create”
 6 Right click on “Temok VPN PPTP” connection and select “View connection properties”  

Note: If you are on Windows 8.1, then click on “Change Adapter Settings” from the “Network and Sharing Center”, right click on Temok VPN PPTP connection, select Properties

7 Click on Security tab and select “Point to Point Tunneling protocol (PPTP)”

8 Select desired encryption from “Data encryption” drop down menu

9 Insert the following info:

  • Click on “Networking” tab
  • Uncheck “Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)” and “File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks” then
  • Click “OK”

10 Click on “Wifi / Lan icon” from System tray

11 Click on Temok VPN PPTP connection and click “Connect”

12 Insert your Username and Password provided by Temok VPN then Click “OK”

Important Note: Please always remember your Temok VPN username & password is different from your Website Member Area email address & Password.

13 VPN connection will establish after verifying account details.

14 You are connected now.

15 To disconnect VPN, click on “Lan / Wifi icon” from System tray

16 Click on VPN connection and click “Disconnect”


 Setup Guide for Windows 7


Things to Consider:

Before you begin, please make sure that:

  • You have a working internet connection
  • Windows Supported Device along with Windows 10 operating system.
  • A Premium Temok VPN account (If you haven’t bought it yet, click here to buy)

1 Right click on “Lan / Wifi icon” from System tray and select “Open Network and Sharing Center”

2 Click on “Set up a new connection or network”

3 Select “Connect to workplace” and click Next

4 Select “Use my Internet connection (VPN)”

5 Insert the following info:

  • Insert desired server addressClick here to get the server list
  • Insert destination name as Temok VPN PPTP or Temok VPN US etc
  • Select “Allow other people to use this connection”
  • Select “Don’t connect now, just set it up so I can connect later” and click “Next”

6  Insert Username & Password provided by Temok VPN.( Important Note: Your email address is not your VPN login username. )

  • Tick “Remember this password” and hit “Create”

7 Click on “Close”

8 Click on “Change adapter settings”

9 Right click on newly created VPN connection and go to “Properties”

10 Click on Security tab and select “Point to Point Tunneling protocol (PPTP)”

11 Select desired encryption from “Data encryption” drop down menu

12 Insert the following info:

  • Click on “Networking” tab
  • Uncheck “Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)” and “File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks” then click “OK”

13 Right click on VPN connection and click “Connect” or simply double click on VPN Connection

14 Insert the following info:

  • Tick “Save this username and password for the following users and select “Me only” or “Anyone who uses this computer”
  • Insert password again provided by Temok VPN
  • Click on “Connect”

15 VPN connection will be established after username and password verification

16 You are connected now.

17 Select Network Type as Public

18 Click on close and enjoy the Freedom!!!!!!!!!
