Follow these instructions to setup outlook/Thunderbird email clients in your local PC/Tablet/Mobile device.

Login to your cpanel account and get details of your email account in cPanel > Email accounts.

It is preferred to set your new password for email account.

Open your preferred email client in your local device and set following values. 'yourdomain' in below table is the domain of your email address which you should change.

Set ports as per below table. The most common for cPanel Mail servers used is IMAP Port:993

 

Secure SSL/TLS Settings (Recommended)
Username: email-id@yourdomain.com
Password: Use the email account’s password.
Incoming Server: yourdomain.com
  • IMAP Port: 993
  •  
  • POP3 Port: 995
Outgoing Server: yourdomain.com
  • SMTP Port: 465
IMAP, POP3, and SMTP require Secure Password Authentication (SPA)

The most likely cause of email client malfunction is adding wrong password, thereby resulting in your local PC IP block by shared hosting server firewall.
