Maintenance Schedule: Nov 25, 23:30 CET - Nov 26, 02:15 CET
Dear Customers,
We schedule distribution switch upgrade. We will replace existing distribution switch to new Cisco Nexus 7000 in Milan Datacenter. We expect, during replacement some minor packet loss and sequential downtime (to move the cables from old to new switches). This maintenance is part of network upgrade to expand existing bandwith to 200Gbps to edge routers and 10Gbps uplink to TOR switches (top of the rack switch).
During next months we will replace all existing TOR switch with Cisco 4948 (48 Gig ports and 10Gig uplinks). After the upgrade all uplink servers will be upgraded to 200Mbps guaranteed bandwidth at fraction costs of our competitos.
Last step will be upgrade core routers to Cisco 9010 with 100Gig ports. We will use them to upgrade capacity between core and distribution devices and will start activating 100Ge ports with our international transit.
